For advanced gum inflammation

When the gums are severely inflamed and the inflammation may have spread to the jawbone, periodontal treatment is necessary. In such cases, we carry out extensive treatments, and with your permission, this will also be communicated to your dentist.

Before treatment begins, we carry out a thorough examination. During this, we measure the depth of the gum pockets in six different places around each tooth or molar to establish the severity and extent of the inflammation.
Based on this data, we will plan a series of cleaning appointments, during which plaque, tartar and inflamed tissue will be carefully removed. At the same time, you will receive personalised instructions to improve your oral hygiene and inhibit the inflammatory process.

After approximately three months, we will evaluate progress with a repeat measurement study and discuss the next steps together. This way, we ensure that the achieved result is maintained and further damage is prevented. In isolated cases, referral to a dental periodontologist for specialist care may be necessary.
